They have ACTUAL building games, why is this a deciding factor in who wins a battle? It's pretty dumb tbh. I guess that's why I hate the game, is cause it's all based on building and i hate building.
But in fortnite you get beat cause the other dude can build ramps and walls faster. Normally in other games you get beat cause of: possitioning, out aimed, being traced, bad foot work, bad game sense, etc. It's just a very new factor in a PvP game. It's feels like im talking about competitive minecraft building or something. It's very odd saying all this: "Building takes skill", "building wins the game", etc. So basically, someone with God aim like Shroud, would lose 9/10 battles with someone that has advanced building skills / much better building skills than him or her. 10000% is just fast and accurate building, that's it. Just not as much as other games, cause all you need, literally. > once you win the building battle you've basically crushed the other persons hopes and it probably alters their gameplay > You're now able to take advantage of your situation and dive in for a kill. Here's how it goes: Start out shooting > then build your way to opponent > both players are trying to out build the other for a vantage point or until other messes up and falls. Ill give it that.īut the building eliminates other skill based factors like: foot work, aim, tracking, game knowledge, game awareness, etc. Ive tried so hard trying to get into fortnite, but can't.īuilding takes skill, or at least muscle memory / constant practice of building structures for combat and defense. Most recently, this has involved many people choosing to identify as “queer” or using that word as a shorthand to describe the broader community - although some still find this offensive. The LGBTQ community has a long history of reclaiming things that were once used as derogatory slurs against them. (According to a 2012 Slate piece, limp wrists have been deemed “unmanly” since ancient Rome). The 18-year-old said he thought the action would be instantly “relatable” to others in the LGBTQ community, even though he also recognized it had offensive roots. BuzzFeed News can’t 100% confirm if Hallows came up with the limp wrist meme, but he was the earliest we could find and recalled devising it as something different from what he had seen trending. By this time, “Kiss Me More” had been a viral hit on TikTok for months, but that point of the song was mainly used for clips featuring sudden transitions.
